Popular Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze aka ‘Aki’ has revealed how the cast and crew of the TV show The Johnsons were able to handle the death of co-star Ade Ameh aka Emuakpor.
The pint-sized thespian who opened up during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo said that the demise of Ada Ameh is a bitter loss for everyone who wants to go down memory lane.
“Losing Ada on The Johnsons, we didn’t even believe that the show would still go on. Because if you mention The Johnsons, you must mention ‘Emuakpor’. It was difficult to take away Ada, who is the character Emu… But I don’t know how it happened, how we are still bubbling”.

Chinedu Ikedieze also reflected about how the death of Ada Ameh (who he had played a mother-son role with on The Johnsons) affected him personally.
He said, “It was hard. She took the character off the screen. I have met her several times outside and people will say to her, see your pikin… it was like losing a part of me. It was the least story or information I opted for her”.
