Popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo has explained why she regrets her failed marriage which unfortunately hit the rocks in the year 2014 and the real reason she chose surrogacy.
The mother of one who opened up during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo said that she regrets her marriage because it was not the right move to make at the time she married Edo businessman Philip Ehiagwina in 2008.
Ini Edo who began her film career in 2000, and has featured in more than 100 movies since her debut, however said that she will marry again when the right person comes at her own time.
The actress said; “Yes, I regret it because it wasn’t the right move to make.”

‘‘I will get married again if the right person comes at my own time,” she declared.
When asked why she chose surrogacy, Ini Edo said that she settled for the procedure because she didn’t have a husband and she has had many miscarriages in the past that caused her to give up on having her own child.
She said; “I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages and I got tired of trying and I didn’t want to try. Since I don’t have a husband, I wanted a child for myself”.
