Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician Damini Ogulu popularly known in music circles as Burna Boy has clocked no fewer than 1 billion streams on Audiomack, thus becoming the first African musician to achieve the lofty feat.
This was announced in a post on Twitter by the popular music streaming platform on Friday.
“Congratulations, Burna Boy, on becoming the first African artist to hit 1 billion Audiomack streams,” Audiomack tweeted.

While reacting to the development, Burna Boy achieved this milestone with the combined streams of his last three albums and singles in recent years expressing his gratitude to his fans and Audiomack for supporting his music career.
“I am incredibly grateful and humbled; much love to everyone who has streamed my music and continues to support me; you all are the true MVPs,” Burna Boy posted on Twitter.
