Organisers unveil first wave of performers for BET AWARDS 2023

BET announces an exciting line up of old and new school artistes set to perform at the “BET Awards” 2023, airing from Los Angeles on Monday 26 June.

From the night’s start, Culture’s Biggest Night will be a non-stop Hip-Hop Party celebrating 50 years of the genre throughout the LIVE telecast. From West to East Coast, Afrobeats, Trap music to Bounce and Dance Hall, the culture’s finest are set to deliver a full range of Hip-Hop favourites, including 69 Boyz, Big Daddy Kane, Chief Keef, DJ Unk, E-40, Fast Life Yungstaz & Easton (F.L.Y.), Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Kid ‘N Play, MC Lyte, Percy “Master P” Miller, Remy Ma, Soulja Boy, The Sugarhill Gang, Trick Daddy, Trina, Tyga, Uncle Luke, Warren G, Ying Yang Twins, and Yo-Yo. Furthermore, joining the Hip-Hop party are “BET Awards” 2023 nominees Coco Jones and GloRilla, — hit makers Lil Uzi Vert and Doechii, with more performers soon to be announced.

Speaking on the performance line up, Monde Twala, the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Paramount Africa and Lead for BET International commented, “we are excited to present an extraordinary line-up of performers for the 2023 highly anticipated BET Awards, and this year’s roster is a perfect fusion of both the new school and old school artists, creating a dynamic and unforgettable experience for viewers worldwide through the dynamic range of Hip Hop, and with the end goal of celebrating the big 50 of Hip Hop.”
