Former female housemate of the 2020 Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, ‘Lockdown’ edition, Nengi Hampson has called on the government to come to the aid of flood victims in Bayelsa State.
The reality TV star who appealed for government intervention in a video post on her Instagram page said that the flood have destroyed lives and property in some parts of the country.
Nengi who expressed utmost displeasure as she disclosed how flood has ravaged things in some places in Nigeria said that the flood has brought about a surge in the prices of foods and other needs of the people of Bayelsa and other affected states.

“The flood in Bayelsa State has destroyed Hospitals, Schools, Lands, Houses and other key infrastructure in the state. Thousands of people are struggling to live as the flood has displaced them.
‘‘I want to appeal to everyone to raise awareness and give (no matter how little) to the people of Bayelsa. I will also like to appeal to the State and Federal Government for their urgent intervention as the people need all the support,’’ she wrote on IG.
