Kevin Spacey to face trial in New York over s3xual abuse allegation

Troubled American actor Kevin Spacey will now appear before a Manhattan federal court in New York for allegedly s3xually assaulting actor Anthony Rapp when he was 14-years-old.

Kevin Spacey will face his accuser in court where jury selection is scheduled to begin on Thursday in Rapp’s $40 million civil lawsuit over the incident, which allegedly occurred when he was 14.

Rapp has accused actor of trying to seduce him when he 14 at Spacey’s Manhattan apartment in 1986.

Reports say that the trial will focus on an alleged encounter in New York in 1986, when Rapp was a child actor and Spacey, then 26, was making his name on Broadway.

Rapp, then 14, said Spacey invited him to a party at his Manhattan apartment then tried to seduce him after the other guests left.

Spacey, 63, has denied Rapp’s accusations and other sexual misconduct charges.

“We look forward to a trial by jury with actual evidence rather than trial by social media,” his lawyer Jennifer Keller said on Wednesday.
