Orianne Cevey, the ex-wife of popular English drummer, singer, songwriter and record producer, Phil Collins has been found guilty of lying under oath in a $20m property fight with her estranged former hubby.

She was found guilty by Judge Alan Fine who dismissed her $20 million lawsuit against Collins, thus losing her battle to get half the proceeds of a Miami waterfront mansion the singer sold for nearly $40 million in February 2021.

Judge Fine, explained that the motive for her being dishonest with the Court was to try to avoid sanctions and to keep her case going without having to comply with discovery

In a sensational full order of dismissal released on Tuesday September 20, Judge Fine wrote that Cevey “has been purposefully deceptive during the course of these proceedings — including without limitation by testifying falsely under oath to this Court.”

He added “[Her] complaint is hereby dismissed in its entirety with prejudice for three independently dispositive reasons.”

The Judge said; “The logical conclusion to draw is that the documents do not exist.

“Her motive for being dishonest with the Court was to try to avoid sanctions and to keep her case going without having to comply with discovery.

‘‘Her dishonesty is an affront to the interests of justice, and her pleadings should be stricken as a result and dismissal with prejudice should be entered.”

Cevey, 48, and Collins, 71, were married from 1999 to 2007. She was then married to investment banker Charles Mejjati from 2008 to 2017, but reunited with Collins in 2015. They broke up again in 2020 and she married Thomas Bates; they have since split.
