The absence of prosecution witnesses has stalled the trial of former Chocolate City rapper, Panshak Zamani popularly known in music circles as Ice Prince over alleged assault.
The talented rapper who is standing trial on a three-count charge bordering on assault, obstructing a policeman from carrying out its statutory duties, and abduction appeared before a magistrate court sitting in Ajah, Lagos State, on Wednesday, September 7.
During the trial, the prosecution’s lawyer asked the court to adjourn the case, citing the absence of his two witnesses and also ordered that he be remanded at the Ikoyi correctional facility until he perfects the bail conditions.

Recall that the arrest of the former Chocolate City music act was made known in a post on Twitter by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command.
Hundeyin also informed that Ice Prince assaulted the police officer and threatened to throw him in the river.
He also used the medium to inform that Ice Prince would be arraigned today after his arrest.
