Veteran Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkarim is set to undergo a kidney transplant next week.
This was revealed by his colleague, Kenny Ogungbe during a red carpet interview with Channels television where he said that the singer has been undergoing dialysis at a hospital in Lagos state.

Recall that Eedris Abdulkareem recently shared a video of himself in a hospital a few weeks ago announcing he has been diagnosed with kidney failure.
“He is going through dialysis. Next week he will be going through the surgery. We pray to almighty God; people have been supportive. Even after he has gone through the surgery, he will need to be maintained and it is expensive.” Ogungbe said
