Widow, parents to share Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman’s $2.3m fortune

The $2.3 million fortune belonging to late ‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman will be shared by his widow Taylor Simone Ledward-Boseman and parents Leroy and Carolyn Boseman.

The talented actor who untimely passed on in the year 2020 at the age of 43 left behind a $2.3 million fortune, after taxes, funeral, legal, and lawyer fees were subtracted.

Reports say that an agreement to split his estate, worth $2.3 Million, evenly, was reached as the actor who died of colon cancer left no will to guide the family on how to handle his fortune.

Citing a report by Black Enterprise, his widow Taylor Simone Ledward, 31, has reportedly asked for her husband’s estate to be split between herself and her in-laws, Leroy and Carolyn.

Further reports revealed that Ledward-Boseman produced documents with an account of all expenses incurred following Boseman’s death, asking to be reimbursed.

The funeral costs amounted to around $50,000 including the purchase of a piece of land close to the actor’s resting place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where his parents will be laid.
