Lala Akindoju calls out Lagos govt for approving petrol stations in residential areas

Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju has called out the Lagos State government for approving the construction of petrol stations in residential areas of Lagos State especially Eti-Osa area.

The actress stated this in a series of tweets on Tuesday, where she stated that the government does not care about the lives of Nigerians.

According to her, the presence of the petrol station in residential areas not only  pose a threat to the lives and properties but the long queues caused by fuel scarcity has made it hard for residents to move in and out of their homes.

“It still baffles me how the Lagos State Government; governor, Jide Sanwo-Olu; and the Eti-Osa representative sat still and allowed an ENYO filling station open in a completely residential area.

“Now there’s fuel scarcity and people can’t get in or out of their homes easily. Let’s not forget the danger to lives and property.

“We are reminded daily that this government does not care about the lives of Nigerians. But I see posters declaring heroism and asking for a continuation of what has started. Yeah, sure!” she tweeted.
