Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu has taken to her official social media page to lament the spate of gossiping among practitioners in the local movie industry.
The moviemaker who shared her thoughts on the matter in a post on her Instagram page said that no fewer than 50-Oscar worthy films would have been made locally if filmmakers spent more time in their work than in gossiping.

”The gossip mill in Nollywood works overtime, Mehn. We would probably be making 50 Oscar-worthy films a year if people expended the same energy on their work,” she wrote on Twitter.
