Veteran Nollywood actor Saint Obi and his estranged wife Linda Obi are currently enmeshed in a messy divorce saga as they both battle it out over the custody of their three children (two boys and a girl) following a divorce suit.
The actor in a suit filed before the High Court of Ogun State in 2019 had alleged an attempt on his life by his estranged wife and her brothers, Michael Amobi and Chukwumobi Amobi.
Saint Obi who initiated the divorce procedure on the basis of the alleged attempt on his life, also claimed that Linda imprisoned their three children with the help of men of the Police Force.

In the suit with number HCT/128/2019, Saint Obi, accused Lynda, and an MTN Nigeria big shot, of allegedly “imprisoned” the couple’s three children by hiring Mobile Police officers to protect them without his permission and therefore preventing him access to their children.
The actor whose first marriage to the daughter of a Lagos pastor also ended in a messy divorce years ago, got married to Lynda at a lavish ceremony in the month of December 2006 at the Amobi Family hometown in Anambra State.
The presiding Judge, Justice Omotoayo O. Majekodunmi has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Saint Obi’s ex-wife, Lynda for evading court process.
