DEFAMATION: Jaruma explains her absence in court after judge revoked her bail

Popular aphrodisiac seller Hauwa Saidu better known in business circles as Jaruma has revealed why she was absent in court during resumed hearing of her defamation case.

Recall that an Upper Area Court, Zuba in Abuja on Wednesday revoked the bail granted earlier to Jaruma.

Barrister Ismail Abdullahi Jibrin, the presiding judge, revoked the bail and ordered for her re-arrest after she and her counsel failed to appear in court and also failed to send any representative.

In a post on social media, Jaruma explained her absence in court to defend herself in pending case with businessman Ned Nwoko who is suing her for Libel and Defamation of character.

Jaruma in her post on social media said that she was not feeling fine that was why she did not appear at the Upper Area Court, Zuba in Abuja on Wednesday.

The aphrodisiac seller is presently standing trial on a four-count charge of ”defamation of character, criminal intimidation, injurious falsehood, and publishing falsehood to incite the public to hate against Prince Ned Nwoko.
