Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known in music circles as Davido has lived up to his promise of disbursing the princely sum N250 million to selected orphanages across the country.
The ‘Skelewu’ crooner in a statement issued on his official Twitter on Tuesday evening page gave update on how the N250 million that was donated by his friends and family was disbursed.
According to the statement, the five-man disbursement committee worked tirelessly to ensure that they collated the names and information of documented and verified orphanages.

Davido also thanked everyone who made the process of disbursement a seamless one.
Recalled that Davido raised N200m over 72 hours after he shared his account details on social media during his birthday in 2021.
He later revealed that he added the sum of N50 million to increase the largesse to a total of N250 million in November 2021.
