Nollywood filmmaker Imoh Umoren has countered a claim put forward by a user of micro-blogging site, Twitter that being born in the continent of Africa is a disadvantage.
The claim was made in a post on Twitter by a user with the handle @Kimathilnc who also used the medium to list various challenges one has to overcome to “equalize”.

Umoren who reacted to the comments made by the Twitter user said that life happens to everybody no matter which continent or country they were born in.
According to him, poverty cannot only be experienced in Africa alone as it abounds everywhere.
