Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti (son of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti) has for the first time opened up on sharing a Grammy Award nomination with his son Made Kuti.
In a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Femi who was nominated for Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance at the 2022 Grammy Award ceremony thanked the academy for the nomination.
“When you get to share Grammy nominations with your Son, @madekuti it’s extra special. Thank you to the academy, (to everyone who voted #Legacy+) @recordingacademy for the recognition, my wonderful team and family.
