The 2021 edition of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) went down in Lagos on Sunday, November 21, 2021, with Nigerian singer Wizkid and his Malian counterpart emerging as the highest winners on the night.
Wizkid smiled home with three awards out of his four nominations while Iba One was the biggest winner of the night with as he carted home four golden plaques during the award ceremony.
Other established Nigerian music stars like Tems, Legendary Beatz, and Fireboy DML also won, while 13-year-old Kenyan girl made history by becoming the youngest musician to win an AFRIMA award.
