The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas has condemned veteran actor Chinwetalu Agu after his arrest by men of the Nigerian Army for wearing Biafra regalia.
Emeka Rollas, who was reacting to the arrest of the actor during an interview with newsmen, condemned the fact that Agu was seen wearing Biafra regalia considering the high rate of insecurity in the country.
He added during the interview that Chinwetalu Agu should have avoided being seen in such clothing knowing how hot the state is currently.
“I don’t know why he put on Biafra regalia. The State is hot and he knows this.

“We are in talk with the military officials to ensure he is released. We will do our best.
“I heard they have taken him to 82 Division of the Nigeria Military base,” he said.
Meanwhile, the veteran actor who was arrested by men of the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, October 7, for adorning an outfit with the Biafran flag on it, has been released.
