Precious Chikwendu, the estranged ex-wife of former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) has thrown a shade a the father of her four kids (sons) after he joined the All Progressive Congress.
Recall that FFK defected to the APC yesterday September 16 and his defection came as a shock to many as he had been vocal against Buhari’s government and he had in the past vowed never to join the party.
“It is absolutely clear to me that the perception that we had in the past, that many people had, is clearly wrong. We can work together, we can come together, we can build bridges, and we can affect unity in this country.
“A man that I believe would not listen to anybody else in the past, I was quite wrong on that. With his receptive ears, his reception, and those around him; I have seen that definitely this is a man that one can work with provided you go through the right channels,” Fani-Kayode said after joining the APC.
In her reaction to the development on Instagram, Precious Chikwendu recalled the advice she was given by her father, said that he told her that a “good name is better than riches.”
The former beauty queen also disclosed that her father told her “a thief is never ashamed because his actions are always against his kinsmen”.
